The 2017 planting tolerance will be 1.25 to 1.35 acres per share of stock.
40,000 to 45,000 +/- acres of sugarbeets have been planted as of Monday morning (April 17). The maximum allowed harvested acres at this time is 97,470 (1.35 acres per share).
We finished Peet Sunday morning. The entire fleet is now hauling from Lehman. Lehman completion looks to be the end of April and that will complete our Minnesota haul.
From Lehman we will move to our last outside pile Tyler. In the factory yard we continue to work on #1. The beets continue to hold up good. There is some breakdown taking place around the pipe and fan housing and pile margins. We have and will continue to set aside questionable beets to maintain factory operations. To date (April 17) we have set aside 1,700 tons.
The shrink estimate was adjusted down from 10% to 8% due to very good storage conditions up to this point.
